About University

As visitors you are our honored guest. We want you to feel welcome and at home. Here are some of the things that you may experience when you visit us.

Seating: There are no “reserved seats”. You may sit anywhere you wish.

Singing: The songs we sing are listed in the “order of worship” on the front of the newsletter.

Our singing is acapella. You can follow the music from the songbook or the screen. Singing is optional but focusing on the thoughts of the song is encouraged.

Prayer: During our services, we may have several prayers. No vocal audience response is required during these prayers. The gentleman leading us in prayer may include specific needs or requests (Phil. 4:6)

Lord’s Supper: Following the example of the early church, we share the Lord’s Supper every week (Acts 20:7). During this time, believers reflect on the body and blood of Jesus given for our sins in anticipation of his return.

Offering: This is a time when our members support the ongoing work of this congregation. As our guest, you are not expected to make a donation. However, any participation is appreciated.

Preaching: The minister will speak from 20-30 minutes. We believe you will find the message refreshingly Bible-centered. (Matt. 2:18, 1Cor. 2:1-2).

Invitation: At the end of the message the minister will extend an invitation for those who desire to respond to the Gospel call. We will stand and sing a song of encouragement.

Expected of You: During our time together, we will call attention to a visitor card. If you are comfortable doing so, please fill in your name, address, and phone number so that we can thank you for your visit. We also invite you to stay a few minutes after the service to meet our members.
