There are so many ways that you can be involved here at University Church of Christ. Below are some of the ministries we have available. We’d love to have you join us!
The benevolence ministry is meant to provide a compassionate response to the benevolent needs among the believers at University and those who come to us from other perspectives.
The Food Pantry – Fresh food and basic goods given out on Friday from 9:30am to 1pm – stop by the pantry. We are currently providing food assistance to about 100 families each week. Please save your regular sized plastic grocery bags(please NO produce bags) for our food pantry. There is a box labeled for bags next to the pop machine in the Fellowship Hall. You are always invited to help serve at anytime during food pantry hours.
Our Caring Ministry is designed to coordinate activities related to Christian organizations for children and families.
An ongoing option to support CCS is to purchase gift cards for King Soopers and Safeway. Make a donation to Colorado Christian Services each time you use this reloadable Kroger/King Soopers Gift Card. Reload them at the Service Counter or with the Cashier before you begin checking out. Each card is programmed so that Kroger will automatically send 5% of your purchase amount to Colorado Christian Services. You don’t spend an extra dime. Each card starts out with a $2.50 balance. Purchase them for friends and family. You can use these cards at all Kroger-Affiliated stores throughout the U.S., including King Soopers, Kroger, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, Fry’s and Fry’s Marketplace, Dillons, Smith’s Food & Drug, City Market, QBF, Food 4 Less, Owens, Foodsco, Hilander, Pay-Less, Cala-Bell, Baker’s, Jayc, Fred Meyer Jewelers, and Littman & Barclay Jewelers. This is an easy way to make a significant donation to Colorado Christian Services while you do your regular grocery shopping. Please call our office at 303-761-7236 or 1-800-988-0600 to purchase your reloadable Gift Cards.

Thursday School has been serving children and their families for 40 years. Our days are full of learning about God, His love and the delight of knowing we are His. Throughout all of that the children are encouraged to grow and learn in all the areas so important to their development. We meet September through May, 9:30 am to 1 pm. Classes are divided by age. Our teacher/child ratio is 8:1 with the exception of our youngest class which is 6:1.
Tuition is $50 a month per child. We are a ministry and if that is out if your reach at this time please let us know and we will provide a scholarship for your child. For more information please contact Connie Monsees at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The vision of University House is to show God’s love by providing a home away from home for families of people being treated for medical conditions in Denver-metro medical facilities.
Families dealing with a major medical illness or injury are a vulnerable part of our society. When these families need to travel long distances to seek treatment, their stress dramatically increases.
University House seeks to serve these families by providing them a place to rest. It is our hope that families fing University House to be a comfortable and restful place that reminds them of their own home.
If you would like to reserve University House, or request more information, please call 303-459-2272 or email email@example.com.

“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these, my brothers, you did it to me.” – Matthew 25:37-40 (ESV)
World Bible School
Every week, thousands of people use the World Bible School website to learn from God’s word. These people come from nearly every country on earth. The Bible was written for every person in every culture.
You can get involved in this ministry by becoming a WBS Study Helper. A WBS Study Helper is a Christian friend who is available to help others understand the Bible as people around the world take the WBS courses. WBS Study Helpers are everyday people who volunteer their time to help others. A Study Helper will exchange lessons, review lesson answers and give feedback, help find Scriptures to answer personal questions, and be available as a prayer partner.
